It is expensive to make theater. Let’s put that out there.
Across the country, we are also seeing theaters become more and more dependent on contributed funding. In a survey of 131 non-profit theaters, Theatre Communications Group saw the percentage of contributed income increase by 41% while net income decreased by 16% between 2018 and 2022.
This means that our work cannot happen without the generous support of our community.
You are the only reason we are here today creating theater.
Okay but what does my donation actually go towards?
All donations go towards paying our artists. Actors, designers, playwrights, directors, and countless others work behind the scenes to create the finished product you see on stage. Your donation pays for the time and talents of our artistic teams. Your donation also keeps ticket prices accessible and enables us to reach a larger audience.
