The Lemonade Stand is presenting the second edition of Fresh Squeezed, our new works reading series built to bring new playwrights and collaborators into our community of artists.
This winter, we will take over the Proscenium Theatre at the Drake for two evenings to bring you two O’Neill Semi-Finalist scripts from Philadelphia’s own to the city for the first time.

The Lemonade Stand is proud to be an official partner of 1319 Press! As a partner theatre company, all of our mainstage shows will have a direct path to publication, while our playwrights will join the incredible community already fostered by 1319 Press.
The goal of 1319 Press is to highlight the talent of emerging playwrights by giving them a way to share their work beyond just a PDF. By publishing their writing with 1319, playwrights have a way to distribute their script that also provides them with revenue to sustain their livelihoods or even help fund future productions.
